Abnelo Catering provides professional catering services for corporate events, weddings, private parties, conference lunches, outdoor BBQ functions and related events across Greater Sydney and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability, and the descriptions, images and pricing displayed on our website are provided for general information purposes. Final service details, menus and pricing are confirmed in writing through a formal quote and booking confirmation issued by our team. We reserve the right to modify our service offerings, menu items and pricing at any time without prior notice, though confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed terms.
All catering bookings require a written confirmation and a deposit of 30% of the total quoted price to secure the event date. The remaining balance is due seven days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card or other methods as specified on your invoice. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices include GST where applicable and are quoted in Australian dollars.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to abnelo@hotmail.com. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled event date will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. Cancellations made between 14 and 30 days before the event date will receive a 50% refund of amounts paid. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date are non-refundable due to ingredient procurement, staffing commitments and preparation costs already incurred. Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 14 days in advance. A rescheduling fee may apply depending on the circumstances.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate event information including date, time, venue address, guest count, dietary requirements and access instructions at the time of booking. Any changes to guest numbers must be communicated at least seven days before the event; increases are subject to availability and additional charges, while decreases of more than 10% may not reduce the total invoice amount. Clients must ensure that the venue provides adequate facilities for food service including power access, water supply and appropriate space for setup. Abnelo Catering is not responsible for delays or service limitations caused by inaccurate information provided by the client or venue restrictions not disclosed in advance.
Abnelo Catering operates under all required NSW food business licences and follows HACCP-based food safety protocols in our kitchen and during event service. While we take every reasonable precaution to accommodate dietary requirements and allergen requests, our kitchen handles a wide range of ingredients including nuts, gluten, dairy, shellfish and soy. Cross-contamination cannot be entirely eliminated in a commercial kitchen environment. Clients and their guests with severe allergies must inform us in writing during the booking process, and we strongly recommend that affected guests exercise their own judgement when consuming catered food.
All content on the Abnelo Catering website — including text, images, logos, menu descriptions, design elements and software — is the intellectual property of Abnelo Catering Pty Ltd or its licensors and is protected by Australian copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display or create derivative works from any website content without our prior written consent. The Abnelo name, logo and associated branding may not be used in any manner that suggests endorsement or affiliation without explicit written permission from James Whitmore or authorised company representatives.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Abnelo Catering Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific event shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for that event. We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, venue closures, transport disruptions or government restrictions that prevent us from delivering services as scheduled. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law.
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the website. Prohibited activities include attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, transmitting malicious code, scraping website content for commercial purposes, submitting false information through our forms and using the website in any way that could damage, disable or impair its functionality. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website for any user who violates these terms without prior notice.
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
